IMPLEMENTASI PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT OLEH BADAN AMIL ZAKAT DALAM RANGKA PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DI KOTA PADANG PERATURAN DAERAH KOTA PADANG NOMOR 02 TAHUN 2010

Abstract

Indonesia as a majority Muslim country generally has the potential that is utilized by the government to reduce poverty that is sweeping the Indonesian nation, because with the largest Muslim population in the world so that through one religious organization that is zakat can reduce poverty and social inequality in society. issued Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning the management of Zakat which has undergone many reforms. The city of Padang as a majority Islamic region forms a regional regulation number 2 of 2010 concerning the management of zakat which is run by the BAZNAS of Padang City in order to increase the welfare of the poor in the city of Padang. As for the problem studied 1). What is the Implementation of Zakat Management by the Amil Zakat Agency in improving the welfare of the people in Padang City? 2). What are the Obstacles and Constraints that Happen in the Management of Zakat by the Amil Zakat Agency in Padang? 3). What are the Supporting Factors for the Implementation of Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2010 concerning the Management of Zakat in the City of Padang? The method used in this research is sociological juridical research conducted in the field to obtain primary data through interviews. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study conclude 1). The implementation of Zakat Management by the Amil Zakat Agency in the City of Padang was formed through a program created by BAZNAS Padang City so that the achievement of the goals of a prosperous society. 2) Obstacles that occur in the management of zakat funds where there is a lack of public awareness to pay zakat to the BAZNAS of Padang City. 3) Supporting Factors for Implementation of Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2010 concerning Management of Zakat is the issuance of Law Number 23 of 2011, Government Regulation Number 14 of 2014, and Decree of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance Director General of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Number DJ.II / 568 Year 2014.
