PERANAN SATPOL PP KOTA PARIAMAN DALAM MENANGANI KASUS LGBT BERDASARKAN PERATURAN DAERAH NOMOR 10 TAHUN 2018 TENTANG KETENTRAMAN DAN KETERTIBAN UMUM

Abstract

Public peace and order implemented by Satpol PP where Satpol PP has the right to handle and follow up cases of violations of peace and public order, especially LGBT cases. With the existence of local government regulation number 10 of 2018 concerning peace and public order has governed the rules regarding LGBT. will be discussed in this research are (1) What is the role of Satpol PP in handling and following up on LGBT cases in Pariaman City? (2) What are the obstacles encountered by the Regional Government, especially the Satpol PP in following up on LGBT cases in Pariaman City? ( 3) What are the efforts made by the Regional Government and Satpol PP in handling and following up on LGBT cases in Kota Pariaman? This type of research uses a sociological juridical approach. Data sources are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques include interviews and document studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study were (1) The Role of Satpol PP in handling and following up on LGBT cases in Kota Pariaman was to supervise and follow up on LGBT cases in Kota Pariaman. (2) Constraints faced by the Regional Government especially the Satpol PP in following up on LGBT cases in Pariaman City is the difficulty of distinguishing LGBT actors from the general public and lack of information regarding LGBT activities (3) Efforts made by the Regional Government and Satpol PP in handling and following up on LGBT cases in Kota Pariaman is by means of socialization with the community regarding the impact of LGBT.
