Coordination of Work between the Civil Servant Investigator of the West Sumatra Natural Resource Conservation Office and the Agam Regional Police in investigating the Criminal Acts of the Sumatra Forest Goat Trade. Sumatran Forest Goat (capricornis sumatraensis) as one of the protected animals is regulated in Article 27 of the Government Regulation on Preservation of Plant and Animal Species and Article 20 paragraph (2) with criminal provisions in Article 40 paragraph (2) of Law Number 5 of 1990 concerning Conservation of Living Natural Resources and Their Ecosystems. cases that occurred in early 2019 there has been a trade in Sumatran forest goats in Lubuk Basung Problem Formulation

(1) How is the Coordination of Work between PPNS BKSDA and Agam Police in investigating the criminal acts of Sumatran forest goat trade? (2) What are the obstacles found by Agam Regional Police by investigating the crime of trafficking in the head of the Sumatran forest goat? This research used socio-legal approach. Data sources were primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques were done by interviews and document studies, the data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions of the results of the research:(1) The form of coordination of the work of BKSDA towards the crime of trafficking in protected Sumatran forest goats is as an investigator, as an expert witness, and to coordinate with the Indonesian National Police in terms of arrest (2) no obstacles have been found in investigating the crime of animal trafficking because of the pure enthusiasm of the people who reported.
