ANALISIS KRIMINOLOGI TERHADAP ANAK SEBAGAI KORBAN EKSPLOITASI EKONOMI

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Protection of child victims of economic exploitation is regulated in Article 76 letter i of Legislation No. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Legislation No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. Almost every crossroad and traffic lights there are always children begging, busking and selling. The problem will be discussed are (1) What are the factors that cause children to become victims of economic exploitation in the Padang city ? (2) What is the effort of the Padang City Regional Government to deal with the occurrence of children as victims of economic exploitation in the Padang city? (3) What are the obstacles of the Padang City government in protecting children as victims of economic exploitation. The research method is sociological juridical. Data sources are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques are done by interviews and document studies, the data are analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion of the research, (1) Factors causing children to become victims of economic exploitation are: family environmental factors, family economic factors that cannot afford, social environmental factors and technological factors. (2) The efforts of the Padang City government in protecting children as victims of economic exploitation are: socialization of protection for street children, rehabilitation and empowerment. 3) The constraints of the Padang City Government in Protecting Children as Victims of Economic Exploitation are: the difficulty of approaching street children when they are to be fostered and dataed, the lack of socialization of the dangers of working children on the streets and the lack of time coaching towards street children.
