PENGAJUAN KLAIM ASURANSI KERUGIAN PADA ASURANSI ADIRA DINAMIKA (ADIRA INSURANCE) TERHADAP HILANGNYA BARANG YANG DIANGKUT OLEH PT. JALUR NUGRAHA EKAKURIR (PT. JNE) CABANG PADANG

Abstract

As a carrier, freight service company PT. Nugraha Ekakurir Line (JNE) is obliged to deliver goods / documents safely to their destination. To reduce the risk of loss of goods transported, JNE insured the goods to the insurance company Adira Dinamika. Problem formulation: 1) What is the process of filing a claim for compensation due to loss of goods sent through PT. JNE Padang branch on Adira Dinamika Insurance?, 2) What are the obstacles that arise in the process of filing the claim? This research uses a sociological juridical approach. Source of data obtained from primary data. Data were analyzed qualitatively that is data grouped, processed and concluded. The results of the study: 1) If the consumer experiences loss / loss of his shipment, the consumer can submit a claim for compensation to the JNE by bringing the required documents to the notification, the JNE agent delivers the claim documents to the Padang branch JNE office, then the JNE delivers the claim document to the insurance company Adira, the insurer will calculate the cost of compensation, the cost is sent to the JNE branch office to be given to consumers. The compensation settlement process takes a maximum of 1 month. 2) Obstacles to submitting claims, that is incomplete documents and claims submission exceeding the specified time.
