Abstract

The government's role in handling the Covid 19 case in Padang City is very important. The Padang City Government is obliged to provide information on the handling of Covid 19 in the city of Padang to the public openly and has the right to seek, obtain, own and store information using the types of channels or facilities available. The formulation of the problem is: 1) How do people get the right to information disclosure from the Padang City Government in handling Covid 19, 2) How is Padang City Government Governance in terms of information, budgets and policies in handling Covid 19. This type of research is sociological law, primary and secondary data sources, interview techniques and document studies, data analysis was qualitative. The conclusions of the study are :1) The way that the public gets the Right to Information Disclosure from the Padang City Government in Handling Covid 19 is through mass and social media where the Padang city government delivers any information about Covid-19 in the city of Padang. 2) Governance of the Padang City Government in terms of information, budgets and policies in handling Covid 19 are the Government every day, the budget used for the interests of the people comes from the APBD, the policy carried out by the government in handling Covid 19 is to compile a protocol, there are 5 regional protocol, regional protocol, border protocol, public area protocol, transportation protocol.
