Abstract

The expansion of the territory and its impact on the Dearah of The Sungai Penuh Bank which is stipulated in Law No. 24 of 2014 on Local Government.Formulaic Problems (1)How is the implementation of the duties and functions of the Regent of Kerinci in the expansion of The Sungai Penuh City? (2) How will the expansion of the area have on the suburbs of The Sungai Penuh? (3) How was the effort made by the Regent of Kerinci in overcoming the ampak expansion of the area against the suburb of Sungai Penuh? The type of research used is a method of sociological juridical research. Data sources are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques with interviews and data document studies analyzed qualitatively: (1) the implementation of the duties and functions of Regent Kerinci in the expansion of the Sungai Penuh area has been implemented in accordance with Law 23 of 2014 on Local Government (2) The impact of regional expansion on the suburb of Sungai Penuh has a good impact on the community as the approach of government centers and facilities becomes more accessible. (3) Efforts made by the district regent kerinci in addressing the impact of the expansion of the area on the suburb of Sungai Penuh is not so much because 5 sub-districts that enter into the City of Sungai Penuh access is very close to the center of government.
