PERANAN SATUAN POLISI PAMONG PRAJA KOTA PADANG DALAM MEMBERANTAS PENJUALAN MINUMAN BERALKOHOL GOLONGAN A, B, DAN C UNTUK MASYARAKAT UMUM

Abstract

The sale of Alcoholic Drinks Group A, B, and C for the general public is regulated in Article 12 Juncto Article 36 of the Padang City Regional Regulation Number 8 of 2012 concerning Supervision, Control and Prohibition of Alcoholic Drinks. However, there are still many sales of unlicensed alcoholic drinks in the city of Padang, on December 16 2018 the Satpol PP conducted raids on places where it was indicated that they were selling alcoholic drinks, officers managed to confiscate 17 bottles of class B alcoholic drinks that were sold without a permit. Problem Formulation: (1) What is the Role of the Civil Service Police Unit of Padang City in eradicating the circulation of alcoholic drinks of class A, B and C for the general public? 1 (2) What are the obstacles faced by the Civil Service Police Unit of Padang City in eradicating the circulation of alcoholic drinks of class A, B and C for the general public? In this study the authors used sociological legal methods. The data source used is primary data, secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews and document study. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions of the research results: (1) The role of Satpol PP in eradicating the sale of alcoholic drinks of groups A, B, and C by making preventive and repressive measures. (2) Obstacles faced by Satpol PP are internal and external constraints.
