Abstract

In modern times, activities that make it easier for humans to move are technology as a means of transportation. Traffic violations always occur, especially those committed by children who have a bad impact. One of them is the use of motorized vehicles by children in Solok Regency which results in accidents and death of children. The use of transportation vehicles by children has violated Article 81 paragraphs (1) and (2)Law of Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. prevention is needed in overcoming these violations so that the Police use non-penal measures in preventing criminal offenses committed by children. Formulation problem: (1) What are the forms of non-penal efforts made by the traffic police at the Solok Regency Police against traffic violations committed by children? (2) How is the effectiveness of the non-penal efforts made by the traffic police at the Solok District Police on traffic violations committed by children?
