PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP KONSUMEN LISTRIK PASCA BAYAR PADA PT. PLN (PERSERO) RAYON KURANJI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

Consumer protection is an inseparable part of healthy business activities. Looking at the condition of consumers who have suffered a lot, it is necessary to increase efforts to protect them, so that consumer rights can be upheld. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) How is the Form of Implementation of Legal Protection given to Postpaid Electricity Consumers 2) What are the obstacles faced by PT. PLN (Persero) in Providing Legal Protection for Postpaid Electricity Consumers 3) What are the efforts made by PT PLN (Persero) in Overcoming Postpaid Electricity Payment Obstacles. This type of research is empirical juridical research. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji has made efforts in improving the quality of electricity services for its customers but in its implementation it is still not maximized. Efforts are made namely providing facilities and infrastructure in the customer service process and trying to provide services that are friendly, fast and responsive. In addition, PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji made administrative improvements in the form of operational costs, operational networks, transportation, and improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) through the implementation of education and training.
