Consumer protection is currently regulated in Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection (hereinafter abbreviated as UUPK). PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk also provides a variety of services in the fields of information, media and edutainment, including cloud-based and server-based managed services, e-Payment and IT enabler services, e-Commerce and other product services. One of the newest superior products owned by PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is IndiHome. Formulation of the problem: 1) How is the legal protection for consumers using IndiHome services based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection? 2) What are the constraints faced by consumers using IndiHome services? 3) What legal protection measures can be taken to overcome the constraints faced by consumers using IndiHome services? This study uses a sociological legal approach, and data sources are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews and document study. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions of the research results: 1) Legal protection is a form of legal relations between consumers and business actors, namely preventive and repressive protection measures. 2) Constraints experienced by consumers using IndiHome services, namely technical complaints in the form of network problems, feature problems, unsatisfactory customer service and administrative problems. 3) Efforts made by PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk as a service provider for IndiHome provides forms of consumer services as an effort to protect consumers which are made and organized as a way to reach all complaints and complaints from consumers in case of problems.References
