Abstract

One of the divorce cases granted by the judge of the Padang Religious Court is the case No. 272/Pdt.G/2020/PA Pdg. This research is normative legal research which is the main data in the form of secondary data. Data sources include primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques are the study documents and data analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions: 1) Plaintiff's reason is religion. From switching religions, provoked constant strife and fighting, there was separation. 2) Consideration of the judge is the reason plaintiff, to cause disputes and quarrels continuously and the existence of separation.
