Abstract

Drug and Food Control Agency abbreviated as BPOM is an institution in Indonesia in charge of supervising the distribution of drugs and food in Indonesia. As for the formulation of this:1) What is the role of BPOM in Preventing The Distribution of Cosmetics Without Labels in Pa-dang City? 2) What are the obstscles faced by BPOM in Prevention The Distribution of Cosmet-ics Without Labels in Padang city?. The nature of research on the abive problems is descriptive. The data collection technique was obtained through interviews. The data were analyzed qualita-tively. The results of this research is the the role of BPOM in preventing the circulation of cos-metics without labels still done in order to guarantee quality, safety and usefulness and use of cosmetics evenly cause monitoring of cosmetics in particular can be more emphasized.
