PENEGAKAN HUKUM TERHADAP TINDAK PIDANA PUNGLI OLEH SATGAS SABER PUNGLI PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT (Studi: POLDA PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT)

Abstract

Illegal levies can be carried out by anyone who has certain authority, this is of concern to the public, therefore the President through Presidential Decree Number 87 of 2016 has formed a task force for illegal extortion to tackle extortion. Formulation of the Problem: (1) How is the law enforcement against illegal levies by the Saber Pungli Task Force, West Sumatra Province? (2) What are the obstacles faced by the Saber Pungli Task Force in West Sumatra Province and in enforcing the law against extortion? In this study the authors used a sociological juridical legal research type, the data sources used were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are interviews with qualitative data analysis. The conclusions of the research results: 1. In carrying out law enforcement efforts against extortion, the West Sumatra Provincial Cleansing Cleansing Task Force divides itself into 4 Working Groups, namely, Intelligence Unit Working Group, Prevention Unit Working Group, Action Working Group and Yustisi Unit Working Group. 2. The obstacles faced by the SABER PUNGLI task force are the lack of socialization of illegal fees, supervision of law enforcement officials and public awareness.
