Abstract

BPSK is an institution where various parties can settle their problems outside the court. However, it does not mean that every problem can be resolved at BPSK. Problems 1) What are the roles of BPSK of Solok in settling dispute through mediation process, 2) What are the obstacles faced by BPSK of Solok in settling dispute through mediation process, 3) What are the efforts made by BPSK of Solok in settling dispute through mediation process. This research was a sociological juridical research, whose data sources were primary and secondary data obtained by conducting interviews and analyzed qualitatively.
