PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK SEBAGAI KORBAN KONFLIK BERSENJATA DI PALESTINA MENURUT HUKUM HUMANITER INTERNASIONAL

Abstract

International law is sufficient to regulate the protection of children in armed conflict, both involving the direct and indirect involvement of children in hostilities and also the protection of children as victims of armed conflict. The formulation of the problem, namely: (1) How does International Humanitarian Law regulate the rights and protection of children? (2) How is the legal protection for children as victims of armed conflict in the Palestinian territories? The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the arrangements in international law regarding the rights and protection of children and to find out legal protection for children as victims of armed conflict in the Palestinian territories. The research method used is normative legal research method. Secondary data sources consist of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques are literature study and cyber media. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. Conclusion of the research: The provisions contained in the Geneva Convention IV of 1949 which regulate the protection of the civilian population in particular are the protection of the law of children in the event of an international armed conflict
