Abstract

.The criminal act of catching fish using bombs is regulated in Article 84 point 1 of Law Number 31 of 2004 concerning Fisheries and contains criminal sanctions in it. On July 16, 2019 in Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province, there was the use of bombs in fishing by local fishermen of DanauSingkarak. a bomb device in the waters of Lake Singkarak? (2) What obstacles were found (PSDKP) in overcoming the crime of fishing vessels using bombs in the waters in the waters of the Singkarak lake? This type of research is sociological juridical research. Data sources are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques are interviews and document studies, data are analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions of the research results: 1. The role of the Supervision of Marine and Fisheries Resources (PSDKP) in handling the crime of fishing vessels using bombs in the waters of Lake Singkarak to make pre-emptive and preventive as well as repressive measures. 2.
