PELAKSANAAN PERATURAN TERA ULANG OLEH BALAI METROLOGI DI PASAR TRADISIONAL KOTA PARIAMAN DALAM MEWUJUDKAN PERLINDUNGAN TERHADAP KONSUMEN

Abstract

Recalibration is the matter of periodically marking with a valid calibration mark or a canceled calibration mark, or providing written statements marked with a valid calibration or invalid calibration mark, carried out by employees who have the right to do so based on tests carried out on measuring instruments, measurements, weighing and equipment that has been calibrated. One of the problems of recalibration can occur in various regions, one of which is Pariaman City, West Sumatra Province. This research was conducted to determine the process of implementing recalculation regulations in Pariaman City. This study aims to protect consumers from fraudulent traders in several economic sectors and traditional markets in Pariaman City. The final project research was carried out using primary data and secondary data, namely by taking field data by surveying the location of the Cooperative, Industry and Trade Office, surveying the implementation of re-calibration in the traditional markets of Kota Pariaman and obtaining recalibration data from Kota Pariaman from annual periodic measurements. Based on the results of research that has been carried out on the comparison of recalibration, Kota Pariaman in 2020 has a total recalibration (559 scales) and 2021 has (735 scales) this can be seen to have an increase compared to the previous year. The increase in the recalculation of Kota Pariaman can be caused by the Initiative of the Office of Cooperatives, Industry and Trade of Kota Pariaman by conducting direct surveys to various business unit locations in Kota Pariaman.
