PERLINDUNGAN KONSUMEN TERHADAP PEREDARAN MAKANAN KEMASAN YANG KADALUWARSA DI KOTA SOLOK

Abstract

Consumer protection is useful for protecting consumers from losses on expired packaged food products, so that consumers get convenience in shopping for packaged food products. Types of sociological legal research, primary and secondary data sources, data collection techniques were carried out by interview and document study, data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study: (1) Consumer protection of expired packaged food in Solok City by providing information on packaged food products that are traded. (2) The responsibility of business actors and legal settlement when there is a dispute with consumers is to make compensation without going through a general court, as long as the method does not violate the law.
