Abstract

Circulation of drugs with fake BPOM distribution license numbers violates consumer rights. Drug circulation is monitored by BPOM to protect consumers. This research uses sociological juridical research. The data used include primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and document data. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that, 1) the factors that influence business actors in distributing drugs with fake BPOM distribution license numbers, 2) the form of BPOM supervision there are three stages, namely premarket, posmarket, follow-up on research results, 3) BPOM's efforts are to issue public warnings. concerning drug trafficking violations with fake BPOM distribution license numbers, providing means for consumer complaints, monitoring the activities of business actors, providing guidance on drug security with fake BPOM distribution license numbers.
