Article 136 Paragraph (1) Regulation of the Mayor of Sawahlunto Number 31 of 2016 concerning the main duties and functions of the National Unity Body, Politics, it is stated that the duties and functions of the National Unity, Politics are carried out in order to make the activities of the Sawahlunto City Government run smoothly in accordance with the ideology of national insight. The research approach used is sociological law which is based on primary and secondary data and data collection techniques through interviews, document studies and data analysis. The National Unity Agency, Politics of the City of Sawahlunto conducts community development so that the people of the City of Sawahlunto obey the regulations that are written or not written.References
