Abstract

Retribution is a regional levy as payment for services or the granting of certain permits specifically provided and/or granted by the Regional Government. Problem formulation 1) How is the implementation of collecting tourist levies and the cleanliness of tourist attractions in Padang City? 2) What are the obstacles faced in collecting tourist levies and cleanliness of tourist attractions in Padang City? 3) Efforts are being made to overcome the obstacles that arise in collecting tourist levies and the cleanliness of tourist attractions in the city of Padang. This type of research is a sociological legal research. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis qualitatively. The conclusions of the research are 1) the tourist levy and the cleanliness of tourist attractions in the city of Padang in 2018 reached the target, in 2019 it was almost reaching the target, in 2020 it was still far from the target, because it experienced a decrease in visits due to the covid-19 pandemic. 2) The obstacle faced was the lack of personnel. The Quality of Tourism Development is Still Low. Lack of Public Awareness About the Cleanliness of Tourist Attractions in the City of Padang. 3) arrangement of facilities and infrastructure in tourism potential areas. Promoting tourist attractions.
