Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the evidences in law enforcement of corruption is wiretapping which is regulated in Article 12 letter a of Law Number 30 of 2002 concerning the Corruption Eradication Commission, in which recordings of telephone tapping are evidence of instructions. An example of case number 14/Pid.Sus-TPK/2020/PN.Bdg. The objectives of the study: (1) analyze the judge's considerations on the strength of proof of telephone wiretapping recordings on corruption crimes. Types of normative juridical research; data sources are obtained from secondary data in the form of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials; data collection techniques with document studies; the data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. Research conclusions: (1) During the trial, the judge showed documents obtained from wiretapping and recording in the form of telephone conversations conducted by KPK investigators.
