PEMBINAAN NARAPIDANA DI MASA NEW NORMAL SAAT PANDEMI CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KLAS IIB PARIAMAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK The outbreak of COVID-19 has affected various sectors of people's lives, such as coaching at the Class IIB Pariaman Prison. The training was conducted during the Corona virus pandemic. In Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 9 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Large-Scale Social Restrictions for Accelerating Handling of the Corona Virus. Problem formulation: 1) How is the implementation of inmates coaching during the New Normal period during the Corona virus pandemic at the Pariaman Class IIB Prison? 2) What disturbances did the officers get when coaching prisoners in the New Normal era during the Corona virus outbreak at the Class IIB Pariaman Prison? The type of research used is sociological juridical, in this study the data source comes from primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of criminal statistics. The method of data collection is done by means of document studies and interviews. Furthermore, the collected data will be analyzed using qualitative methods. Conclusions: 1) Convict development in the new normal era during the Corona virus pandemic at the Class IIB Pariaman Prison must meet the health protocols set by the government, in the form of independence, religious and physical development, 2) Obstacles encountered by officers in coaching prisoners during the new normal period of childhood -children during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Pariaman Class II Prison, namely: a) facilities and infrastructure, b) room capacity, and 3) no cooperation.
