KAJIAN YURIDIS TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN ANAK BUAH KAPAL (ABK) INDONESIA YANG BEKERJA DI KAPAL PERIKANAN ASING MENURUT KOVENSI INTERNASIONAL STANDARDS OF TRAINING,CERTIFICATION, AND WATCHKEEPING FOR FISHING PERSONAL 1995(STCW-F 1995)

Abstract

Crews of fishing boats still suffer from work accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to protect the state against its citizens by making rules that regulate the need for protection of Indonesian workers and including those working abroad. The 1995 Standards of Training, Standrds of Training, Cartification, and Watchkaeping for Fishing VesseI PersonneI Convention (STCW-F 1995) can significantly reduce the risk of accidents on board fishing vessels. Among them are national and international legal regulations. The research aims to analyze the application rules and forms of protection for Indonesian crew members who work on foreign fishing vessels and the obstacles faced according to the Standards of Training, Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. Research shows that there are rights that are not fulfilled by ABK and there are certification and training standards for ABK who work on ships with a length of >24m and how are the forms of protection for Indonesian ABK on Foreign Ships According to STCW-F 1995.
