PERKAWINAN TERHADAP ANAK DIBAWAH UMUR DI KECAMATAN SUMAY KABUPATEN TEBO

Abstract

According to Law No. 16 of 2019 article 7 paragraph (1), married is only allowed if the male and woman parties are 1 years old. The formulations of the problem were 1) What are the factors that cause underage marriage in Sumay District, 2) What are the impacts of underage marriage in Sumay District. The type of the research is sociological juridical. Sources of data are primary data and secondary data. The data were collected through instrument such as interview and document study and analyzed qualitatively. Based on the result of the research, the factors that cause underage marriage were married by accident, own desire, habits and environment, low education and low economy. Divorce, health risks, delays in education, vulnerability to domestic violence were the impacts of underage marriage.
