Abstract

ABSTRAK UNODC, considers the drug problem as a serious problem, this seriousness is stated in the United Nations Convention Against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic 1988 (convention on the illicit trafficking of narcotics 1988). Problem formulation 1) How to Regulate Narcotics Circulation According to the Convention Against Illicit Traffic In Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic Substances, 1988 ? 2) How is the Implementation of UNODC Cooperation in Combating Narcotics in Indonesia? . The research method is normative with secondary data sources. Data collection techniques use literature studies and analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion. 1). In the Convention on Illicit Traffic in Narcotics 1988 has a scope for the purpose of cooperation between the parties under this convention in particular cooperation on confiscation, extradition and mutual legal assistance agreements. 2) UNODC cooperation in overcoming drug trafficking in Indonesia, namely carrying out the mandate from the United Nations in preventing all forms of transnational crime, as a supervisor in conventions, treaties and protocols that have been set by the United Nations so that they can be implemented by the state.
