IMPLEMENTASI TANGGUNG JAWAB ORANG TUA TERHADAP ANAK SETELAH PERCERAIAN DI KECAMATAN ULAKAN TAPAKIS

Abstract

One of the problems that often arise in divorce life is the determination of providing support for children. Where various problems often arise when both parents have divorced and separated. Factors that often become a problem for not carrying out responsibilities after Divorce are: economic factors, mother's ability to provide for children, communication factors, lack of good faith. Problem formulation: 1) the responsibilities of parents towards their children after divorce? 2) parental constraints in fulfilling parental responsibilities towards children after divorce? 3) efforts to overcome obstacles in fulfilling parental responsibilities after divorce? The research used is sociological juridical law, the data sources include primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interviews and document studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The conclusions of the research are: (1) the implementation of parental responsibility for children's rights after the divorce is not in accordance with what has been determined and charged to the results of the trial. (2) the obstacles in implementing the decision on the rights of children consist of several factors, namely: economic factors, the ability of mothers to provide for their children, communication factors, and lack of goodwill. (3) efforts to overcome obstacles in fulfilling parental responsibilities after divorce are to strengthen the relationship with children, continue to give attention and responsibility to children, continue to provide costs routine, providing opportunities for parents to visit their children, and reminding parents of their children.
