Abstract

ABSTRAK The crime of adults persuading children to commit obscene acts is regulated in Article 76E in conjunction with Article 82 Paragraph (1) of Law No.17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection. Padangcity resort police received a report in which an adult man with the initials IR (24) had committed an act of persuading a child to commit an scene act. Formulation of the problem: (1) How is the implementation of law enforcement by the Padangcity resort police against adults who persuade children to commit obscene acts? (2) What are the obstacles faced by the Padangcity resort police in implementing law enforcement against adults who persuade children to commit obscene acts. This type of juridical sociological research. The data sources use are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques: interviews and document study. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Research conclusions (1) Implementation of law enforcement by the Padangcity resort police against adults who persuade children to commit obscene acts: preventive measures: socialization, and repressive measures: conducting investigations, investigations, arrests, detentions, submission of case files. (2) Obstacles the Padangcity resort police in law enforcement against adults who persuade children to commit obscene acts: Internal and External Factors.
