Abstract

ABSTRACT The regulation of buskers is regulated is regulated in Article 11 of the Pariaman City Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2018 concering Peace and Order. One of the cases of controlling buskers children in February 2021. Satpol PP controlled buskers children in the tourist area of Pariaman City, namely AR, DS, MD. The busker’s child was then taken to the Pariaman City Satpol PP Office. Problem formulation: 1) What is the role of Pariaman City Satpol PP in controlling buskers? 2) What are the obstacles encountered by the Pariaman City Satpol PP in controliing buskers? The type of research is sociological juridical. Data sources: primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques: interviews and document studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions from the research: 1) the role of Pariaman City Satpol PP in controlling buskers: a) Appeal to visitors to tourist objects. b) counseling for parents in taking care of children. c) Satpol PP security post. d) Improving the economy of underprivileged families. 2) obstacles encountered by Pariaman City Satpol PP in controlling buskers: Internal Factors a) Limited facilities and infrastructure, b) Limited number of Satpol PP members, c) Leaking of raids to the public. External Factors: a) Lack of public legal awareness, b) communty economic factors.
