Abstract

ABSTRACT Ethiopian Airlines flight ET302 was an international flight from Addis to Nairobi that killed 157 people. Based on define procedures for air carrier liability for aircraft crash victims and compensation for injured air carrier based on MC99. In this study, the normative research method is used, which means that the author analyzes primary and secondary legal materials related to the regulation of carrier liability to passengers. According to the results of the study, the airline bears full responsibility for the ET302 accident and will pay compensation to the deceased passenger up to 100,000 SDR, or about 140,000 USD.
