Abstract

ABSTRAK The regulation of acts of molesting children is carried out in Article 44. Number (1) of Law No. 23. Year 2004. Regarding the Elimination of Domestic Violence in Juncto, Article 76C. Law No. 35. of 2014 concerning Child Protection, and is guided by Article 351. Criminal Code . Efforts in which the perpetrator is a grandmother against her granddaughter where by pinching resulting in an injury is classified as an act of molesting children in the family environment. The formulation of the problem: 1) What are the efforts to investigate the case by the Padang Police on the crime of child abuse where the perpetrators are their own family? 2) Are there any obstacles when investigating the case that the Padang Police feel as an effort to resolve the crime of child abuse where the perpetrators are their own family?
