Abstract

Bad credit is the customer's inability to fulfill his obligations as a debtor, so that the debtor is late in paying loan installments. How is the settlement effort carried out by Bank Nagari as a credit lender when the debtor defaults in the credit agreement? What are the factors that cause bad credit at Bank Nagari? What are the obstacles in the settlement of bad loans between the Nagari Bank and the customer. The type of research used is Sociological Juridical. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Research conclusion: Banks contact customers first regarding arrears before taking further steps. A common factor for bad loans is the economic condition of the customer. The obstacle experienced by the bank is the bad behavior of debtor customers.
