Abstract

The fulfillment of the right to education for children in the city of Padang is regulated in the Regional Regulation of the City of Padang Number 5 of 2011 concerning the implementation of education in the city of Padang. (2) what are the obstacles faced in implementing the fulfillment of the right to education for children in the city of Padang during the pandemic? (3) Efforts made in implementing the fulfillment of the right to education for children in Padang City during the pandemic? The research method used is sociological juridical research. The data used: primary data and secondary data, interview data collection techniques, document studies and qualitative analysis data: (1) Implementation of the Fulfillment of the Right to Education for Children During the Pandemic Period in Padang City is still ongoing but which previously were offline and now carried out online (2) Obstacles faced in the implementation of the fulfillment of the right to education for children in the city of Padang during the pandemic such as obstacles, which are related to the economic sector, where there are some parents of students who cannot meet the needs of activities distance learning. (3) Efforts made by the government in implementing the fulfillment of the right to education for children during the pandemic by providing some assistance such as providing free quotas.
