PERANANAN DPD DALAM MENYALURKAN ASPIRASI MASYARAKAT DI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

The Regional Representative Council functions to carry out regional development, namely suggesting draft laws relating to regions. The Regional Representative Council has a role in channeling the aspirations of the community, which is explained in Article 22D of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The formulation of the problem: (1) How is the DPD Mechanism in Accommodating Community Aspirations? (2) What are the Inhibiting Factors in Accommodating Community Views in West Sumatra? The type of research used is Sociological Juridical. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study: 1) Aspirations are classified into divisions, it is hoped that the aspirations can be fought for by members of the DPD. 2) The inhibiting factor for aspiration shelter is insufficient budget and the website cannot be accessed.
