Abstract

A collateral goods auction is an attempt to reclaim loan funds as well as a capital lease that has not been repaid within the prescribed time frame. The purpose of this research is to learn more about the methods and procedures for auctioning collateral commodities at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Terandam Padang Branch. This is a sociological study that takes a qualitative method. Data sources derived from field research findings, namely interviews with the Head of the Customer Service Unit. The writers employed both primary and secondary data sources. The problem's formulation, which will be examined in this study (1) How is the implementation of the auction of customer collateral goods by PT. Pegadaian Terandam Padang Branch, (2) What are the impediments to the implementation of the customer-guaranteed auction of goods by PT. Pawnshop Terandam Padang Branch. (3) What efforts are being made to overcome obstacles in the implementation of auctions for customer guarantee goods by PT. Pawnshop Terandam Padang Branch. The auction of collateral goods is performed in three stages namely, auction notification, auction preparation, and auction implementation.
