PELAKSANAAN ASURANSI USAHA TERNAK SAPI PADA PT. JASA ASURANSI INDONESIA (PERSERO) DI KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR

Abstract

Cattle/Buffalo Business Insurance (AUTS/K) is an insurance program designed to provide protection for cattle/buffalo farmers against the risks of cattle/buffalo business that die due to illness, death due to accidents and theft. Problem formulation 1) settlement of compensation claims against cattle insurance (AUTS) by PT. Indonesian Insurance Services (Persero) in Tanah Datar Regency 2) What are the obstacles found in the cattle business insurance claim (AUTS) by PT. Indonesian Insurance Services (Persero) in Tanah Datar Regency 3) What are the efforts made to overcome the obstacles found in the settlement of cattle insurance claims (AUTS) by PT. Indonesian Insurance Services (Persero) in Tanah Datar Regency. This study uses sociological juridical research to obtain primary data. Data obtained from interviews and analysis with qualitative analysis. The results of the study can be said that: 1) The submission process begins with a potential claim submitted to the insurance company, based on the claim then the insurance company asks the livestock service to find out the truth, if it is proven it will cause a loss 2) The obstacles are field workers, no ID card, no evidence of forced slaughter 3) The effort involved cadres, farmer group leaders and private veterinarians, replacing ID cards with ID cards receipts, replacing evidence of slaughter by making sales receipts.
