PERLINDUNGAN TENAGA KERJA INDONESIA DITINJAU DARI KONVENSI ILO NO 111 TENTANG DISKRIMINASI DALAM KERJA
Abstract
Work to a foreign country is one of solving the unemployment problem that exists today as well as to improve the economic welfare of the people and their families. Indonesian workers who are working to a foreign country called migrant workers, it is necessary to pay attention to protection, labor protection to be set nationally and internationally, is the international organization that regulates the labor problem is the International Labour Organization or the International Labour Organization (ILO). The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) how labor protection arrangements in terms of ILO Convention 111 on discrimination in the workplace?, 2) how the government's efforts in providing protection to workers who work abroad?. In order to obtain completion problems above writer used normative legal research is research conducted or directed on the written rules or also called secondary data, which consists of primary legal materials, legal materials and secondary legal materials tertiary data in qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study to prevent employment discrimination against the International Labour Organisation ILO Convention No. 111 made concerning Discrimination in Respect of Employment and Occupation, and in providing protection to workers who work overseas governments make arrangements nationally and internationally and the government must provide protection which is based on the fundamental rights of state and government efforts is to provide preventive and repressive measures, enact legislation and ratify conventions governing labor.
