PELAKSANAAN PENGAWASAN DARI BADAN PENGAWAS OBAT DAN MAKANAN (BPOM) TERHADAP PEREDARAN OBAT-OBATAN KEDALUWARSA DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

Medicines play an important role in various aspects of people's needs, the need to cure economic
development, and play an important role in the continuity of public health.. Along with the times, there have
been many discovered or seen circulation. Formulation of the problem: 1) Factors that cause the circulation
of expired drugs in the city of Padang? 2) What is the form of BPOM Supervision as a non-departmental
institution to follow up on the circulation of expired drugs in padang city? 3) How are bpom sanctions
against the circulation of expired medicines in padang city? This research method was conducted by
interview. The conclusion of this study is that the factors of the circulation of expired drugs, namely
negligence and intentionality, the form of supervision carried out is also a form of consumer protection, the
sanctions that will be given to individuals will be adjusted from the actions taken against consumers.
