PERANAN PEMBIMBING KEMASYARAKATAN DI BALAI PEMASYARAKATAN DI KELAS I PADANG TERHADAP ANAK PENGEDAR NARKOTIKA

Abstract

Community Advisor is a functional law enforcement official who conducts community research, guidance,

supervision, and assistance to children inside and outside the criminal justice process. The conclusions of

the research: (1) The role of the Community Counselor at the Class I Correctional Center Padang in

providing guidance to children who are drug traffickers has an important role in restoring the unity of

life. (2) The obstacles encountered by the Community Counselor in guiding children of narcotics dealers

are the lack of budget, lack of human resources, facilities and infrastructure.
