Abstract

City transportation as part of the urban transportation system is one of the basic needs of the city community and is an inseparable part of city life in general, the existence of urban transportation is very much needed but if it is not handled properly and correctly it will become a problem for city life. in this study: 1). How is the procedure for granting route permits by the Department of Transportation to City Transportation based on Regional Regulation Number 28 of 2019 regarding changes in the route permit retribution tariff in Solok Regency. 2). What are the obstacles faced in the process of granting city transportation route permits in Solok Regency. 3).To analyze the efforts made by the Transportation Service of Solok Regency in overcoming the number of city transportation routes that do not have route permits. The type of research is Sociological Law. Data Collection Techniques, Document Studies, Interviews, and Data Analysis. The results of the research are: 1). Procedure for Granting Route Permits by the Department of Transportation for City Transportation in Solok Regency. 2). Obstacles in the process of granting City transportation route permits by the Transportation Service of Solok Regency. 3). Efforts made by the Solok Regency Transportation Service in Overcoming Obstacles in granting City transportation route permits.
