IMPLEMENTASI PELAKSANAAN HAK KESEHATAN NARAPIDANA LANJUT USIA (STUDI KASUS DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN PEREMPUAN KELAS IIB PADANG)

Elderly prisoners with limited physical and mental health require special treatment in the field of health services, as stipulated in Article 9 letter d of Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections. In LPP Class IIB Padang there are 2 (two) elderly prisoners who are placed in a special cell equipped with health facilities. Types of empirical juridical research; data sources come from primary data (interviews) and secondary data (crime statistics); data collection techniques with document studies and interviews, data were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study: 1) The implementation of the health rights of elderly convicts at LPP Class IIB Padang has not been fulfilled in accordance with applicable regulations; 2) Obstacles faced in fulfilling the health rights of elderly convicts at LPP Class IIB Padang: internal (HR doctors on duty at LPP, understanding of LPP officers, facilities and infrastructure) and there are no external obstacles.References
