The Provincial Government of West Sumatra issued Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2014 concerning the administration of legal aid. However, in the implementation of distribution of legal aid funds is not optimal. Problem Formulation: (1) How is the Implementation of Distribution of Funds Based on the Implementation of West Sumatra Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Legal Aid? (2) What are the Obstacles in the Implementation of Distribution of Funds Based on the Implementation of West Sumatra Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Legal Aid? (3) What are the Efforts of the West Sumatra Provincial Government to Overcome Obstacles in the Implementation of Fund Distribution Based on the Implementation of the West Sumatra Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2014 concerning the Implementation of Legal Aid? The legal research method used is sociological research. The results of the study (1) Implementation of Distribution of Funds Based on West Sumatra Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2014 concerning the provision of legal aid has only been provided for litigation legal assistance, and not yet available for non-litigation legal assistance. (2) Obstacles faced by the West Sumatra Provincial Government in the Implementation of Fund Distribution Based on implementing Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2014 is that the budget is very small and the requirements for providing legal aid funds are only to verified OBH (3) The West Sumatra Provincial Government is trying to budget more funds for the Implementation of Legal Aid so that it can be carried out properly and appeal to the OBH in West Sumatra to carry out the verification.References
