Abstract

ABSTRAK The development of the times today has a very large influence on the use of information technology and electoral, one of which is in the field of merchanting, many people carry out online buying and selling activities or usually referred to as E-commerce that uses goods delivery services. Problem formulation (1) What is the form of legal protection by the courier service company for couriers in the cancellation of goods by consumers using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment system? (2) What is the form of dispute settlement that occurs between consumers and couriers of expedition services? The type of research used is sociological juridical, the data sources used are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques using interviews and document studies, analyzed qualitatively. (1) knowing the form of legal protection by the expedition service company against couriers in the cancellation of goods by consumers using the Cash On Delivery (COD) payment system.(2) knowing the form of settlement that occurs between consumers and couriers of expedition services.
