Abstract

ABSTRACK Promotion is carried out through social media, namely Tiktok Shop. In the process of buying and selling consumers are in a weak position, it is necessary to protect consumers. This study uses a normative legal approach. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis. Research results 1) legal protection for consumers for beauty products that are not in accordance with those advertised in the Tiktok Shop application, consumers do not get compensation, compensation or replacement of goods and/or services received that are not in accordance with the agreement, 2) legal responsibility of business actors for products The beauty advertised in the Tiktok Shop application, the owner of the Tiktok Shop account, does not respond to complaints from consumers so that consumers feel disadvantaged because the products/goods received are not in accordance with previous orders.
