ABSTRACT The use of price tags in buying and selling will make it easy for consumers to find out. price of goods purchased. The weakness is often faced by consumers is the price difference of goods on the label with the price that consumers have to pay at the cashier. The purpose of this research is to report the accountability and efforts made to the difference in the price of the product on the label with the cashier's price in supermarkets in the city of Padang. Types of sociological juridical research. data sources, primary and secondary data; document study data collection techniques and interviews, analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion (1) Supermarkets are responsible for providing manual discounts according to price tags by mutual agreement. (2) Efforts made by Supermarkets, namely through directing and reminding the cashier, admin and sales assistant to confirm if there is a price change, provide a suggestion box for consumers.References
