PELAKSANAAN PENDAYAGUNAAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF PADA BADAN AMIL ZAKAT NASIONAL (BAZNAS) DI KOTA PADANG

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the government's efforts to alleviate poverty is to establish BAZNAS to manage zakat with the task of collecting, distributing and utilizing zakat. The formulation of the problem in this study (1) How is the utilization of productive zakat in BAZNAS Padang City. (2) What are the constraints of BAZNAS in utilizing productive zakat in Padang City. (3) What is the BAZNAS solution in overcoming the constraints of productive zakat utilization in Padang City. This study uses a sociological juridical approach. Source of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are interviews and document studies, and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study are (1) productive utilization of zakat at BAZNAS Padang City, there are two kinds of programs, namely regular business capital assistance and productive business capital assistance. (2) Obstacles in utilizing productive zakat at BAZNAS Padang City are that BAZNAS Padang City is still lacking in human resources, and the entrepreneurial spirit of mustahik is still low so that in running their business most are not serious. (3) The Padang City BAZNAS solution is to improve human resources and increase mustahik entrepreneurship.
