Abstract

ABSTRAK Consumer protection against quality control and hygiene of snack food in order to create justice and legal certainty carried out by Padang City Health Office. Problem Formulation: (1) How is the implementation of the supervision of the Health Office? (2) What are the obstacles in the implementation of the supervision? (3) How to overcome these obstacles?. This research uses sociological approach. The data collected from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques with interviews and document studies. The data is analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study: (1) The implementation of supervision is carried out by the Health Office and Puskesmas (2) Obstacles that occur internal and external constraints. 3) To overcome these obstacles with preventive and repressive measures.
