Abstract

ABSTRAK The development and expansion of the economy in the home industry sector has developed rapidly, causing many problems, especially the inclusion of labels on the packaging and applicable regulations. Formulation of the problem: 1) How is the implementation of legal arrangements related to permits for home industries that do not include labels? 2) What is the legal protection for consumers who consume food products that do not include labels on the packaging? This study uses a sociological legal approach. Source of data used primary and secondary data. Interview data collection techniques and document studies. Data were analyzed qualitatively. Research results: 1) implementation of legal arrangements related to permits for home industries that do not include labels on packaging, BPOM conducts inspections in the form of certification and inspections 2) legal protection for consumers who consume food products that do not include labels on packaging BPOM provides sanctions in the form of warnings
