PERWUJUDAN TATA PEMERINTAHAN YANG BAIK (GOOD GOVERNANCE) DI LAGGAI (DESA) MAILEPPET KECAMATAN SIBERUT SELATAN KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI

Abstract

The village is a social system that is organized according to the roles, status and functions of each which refers to the prevailing values and norms. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1.) What are the efforts made by the village head and village officials in realizing good governance in Laggai Maileppet 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the creation of Good governance in Laggai Maileppet 3.) What are the obstacles in realizing good governance in Laggai Maileppet. This research method uses a sociological juridical approach, with primary and secondary data sources and data collection techniques using document studies and interviews, the collected data is analyzed by qualitative analysis. The research results show that; 1.) the efforts of the Village Head and Village Officials in realizing good governance in Laggai Maileppet have implemented (nine) 9 principles of good 2.) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the realization of good governance, namely in the transparency pillar is providing open access to all groups in every process, in the accountable pillar is a form of responsibility, namely being loyal and holding fast to promises, in the form of participation, namely mutual cooperation being part of efforts to consolidate and strengthen the community to widen its aspirations, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of participation of Village Officials in various activities carried out in Laggai, and the security factor that has not been held in every hamlet in Laggai. 2.) General obstacles in realizing good governance, namely, inadequate facilities, low level of education, undisciplined working hours, very few Laggai agendas to casrry out trainings, there is miscommunication between superiors and employees.
